  • Is there a dress code at the Glimmerglass Festival?

Opera may have a reputation for being stuffy but that's not the case here. You're invited to dress comfortably. Patrons can be seen in everything from suits and gowns to khakis and sandals. However, your attire will depend on the weather as it's warm during the day and cool at night. Plus, the theater is not equipped with either air conditioning or heat.
  • Can I bring my children to an event?

Children are always welcome at the Glimmerglass Festival as long as they're accompanied by an adult. It's highly recommended that they be at least 6 years old. The Festival does not permit babies who have to be held or kids sitting in laps. Any child who disrupts the opera will be asked to leave along with their parent or guardian.
